Kick off meeting

The FLOODSCAPE project officially began with an online Kick-Off Meeting on 7 November 2025. All project partners participated to introduce their organizations, present the project objectives, and align on roles and responsibilities. The meeting included a welcome session, partner introductions, administrative details, an overview of the project, and a Q&A session to clarify next steps. This meeting set the foundation for effective collaboration and a shared vision among all partners.

In person Teacher Training

A three-day in-person training in Spain that deepens teachers’ understanding of the pedagogical plan and handbook content. The program provides educators with hands-on experience, innovative methodologies, and confidence to implement co-teaching strategies and interactive tools like the escape room in their classrooms, enhancing climate education and student engagement.

FLOODSCAPE Implementation

The FLOODSCAPE Challenge will mark the beginning of student activities in each partner school, introducing participants to flood preparedness and climate resilience. Guided by teachers and project staff, students will engage in a dynamic launch session that fosters teamwork, critical thinking, and active participation.

Following this introduction, students will take part in immersive escape room experiences implemented within partner schools using a portable setup. Teachers will facilitate these sessions, guiding students through interactive flood scenarios in a safe and engaging environment. This hands-on approach will strengthen problem-solving skills, collaboration, and real-life disaster preparedness, building on the foundations established during the initial challenge.

Student Mobilities

Led by Obispo Pont School and Polo Tecnico e Professionale di Lugo, these international events will promote mobility, intercultural exchange, and collaboration between partner schools. The initiative will involve the exchange of 10 students and 2 teachers between Spain and Italy, with participants traveling to each other’s countries. During the events, students will share insights and reflections on their escape room experiences, supported by videos showcasing engagement and learning outcomes. This collaborative approach will strengthen connections across schools while highlighting the educational impact of the activities.
