Unione dei Comuni della Bassa Romagna

Union of Bassa Romagna Municipalities (UBR) is a local public authority located in the Emilia-Romagna Region of Italy, serving nine municipalities and a population of over 101,000. The Union manages a wide range of services, including economic development, urban planning, education, culture, social and health policies, environmental management, and civil protection, employing around 400 staff members.

Since 2018, UBR has had a dedicated European Projects Department with three full-time professionals, coordinating participation in EU-funded initiatives. The Union also prioritizes sustainable development and climate change adaptation, using its organizational structure to design and implement multi-municipality projects that address social, environmental, and strategic challenges at the regional level.
